Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She was in 1997 when she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 and were married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show her good announcement that she became pregnant while filming season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to work on the show. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television.
