Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, TV and stage actress. Her most notable roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. Elizabeth Reaser was raised in and was born in Michigan. From a young age she wanted to become an actor. When an Australian casting director approached models to be auditioned for roles, she was spotted she was an actor. She was chosen to play "Kiki," the leading character in Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. Since then she's played tiny role on Peter Pan and Aquamarine. Roman Empire was a Netflix original series in which she starred as Cleopatra. She also appeared on the movie Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, a cult classic. Jessica got a call from all over the world for the lead role on The Outpost. She sent a videotape of her self to the producers that included her acting in the role, as well as an additional video of her doing MMA. The producers received a short video that she shot the next day, showing herself sword fighting. After reading the script, Jessica knew that the role will require training in weapons as well as a first class in a class with a trained professional. Jonathan Glassner said that the stunt crew was surprised by how well Jessica did on her first day of training. The Outpost is her first significant film in the US as her previous filmographies were located in Australia. Jessica's enthusiasm for action is showcased in the role that includes mixed martial arts and horseback riding expertise, in addition to her athletic abilities and weapons. She can also perform her stunts to embody a strong female role model. She is a trained boxer as well as a muay Thai and mixed martial artist. Jake Stormoen, filming Season 4 of the show was able to meet a puppy that wandered around on sets. The dogs were occupied on the entire set. Jessica was the foster mom to two puppies.
